In the “Farmer's House”, next to the main house. With the linen curtains pulled aside, comfortably sitting on the wicker armchair and looking at the garden. The silence is interrupted only by the chirping of sparrows and the light rustling of the branches. The cropped, shimmering surfaces of the rice fields reflect the sun's rays, they are like a checkered sea that sinks at the foot of the hills. The room is fresh and welcoming. A French lily terracotta decoration is placed on the floor and everything is coordinated in warm colours: the headboard of the bed, applied to the wall, is in patterned gobelin fabric and recalls the Provençal - there is red, green and yellow that gives joy. Bedside tables and desk in dark Indonesian wood, wardrobe in light wood, left raw, with a shabby chic flavour.
The color range of the bedroom returns in the bathroom: crème, light and dark suede. The Amethyst is simple and comfortable, on the large light wall a modern painting recalls the idea of purple quartz, but tempered by gold and steel. I move and the slight creaking of the armchair almost wakes me up: the pool out there is inviting, but so is the deckchair in the shade. Maybe I'll decide to go for a bike ride, maybe tomorrow. We dedicate this room to those who love silence, to those who love to stop and take a break in quiet, to those who appreciate the countryside and discover that even plain landscapes can be wonderful.
